In line, already tired, and it is only noon! Dad picked him up and explained to me, "I'm soaking it up. Next time we come here he might not want to be held anymore."
During the ride, I was overwhelmed with how lucky we are to be having a fun and magical experience while our son is still young; an experience that we might remember forever. I told my husband, "I got teary-eyed in there."
"I did too!" my husband said. "It feels like we are in a race against the clock. He's getting older."
What a great way it was for us to have a special reminder of this time in our lives. We love that ride! It hasn't changed in probably thirty years.
