Three quarters of a million people were on lockdown in their homes. Police searched for two murderous terrorists last week in the Boston area. I couldn't help but feel down about it.
I needed something peaceful. So I tried something I have been wanting to try.
I read on Pinterest that cilantro in a jar lasts longer than in the fridge. They also say that onions in a jar of water will grow.
I enjoyed making the little bouquets to put in my window. The bad guys were caught. Many people were heroic in saving others.
Son: Mom, sometimes I don't like 'my friend'. (I won't use the real name for obvious reasons)
Mom: That is interesting. Why don't you like your friend sometimes?
Son: He pointed his middle finger at Halle in second grade.
Mom: Really! Wow, what did she do? Did she tell the teacher?
Son: I don't know. She just told me.
Mom: Hmmm. Well we already invited him to come over and play today. What should we do?
Son: I know! Maybe we can help him to be better!
Mom: That is a great idea! We can help him to become better!
Wow! I am proud of my son for that answer! :-)
