Anyway, so glad we are better!!
Luckily it was a one-time event for the most part. This little girl ate some boiled chicken and has been fine ever since. The other thing it could have been was the fake bone I had given them to chew on. It was made of glycerin and other benign-looking stuff, but I threw it away. I have read that rawhide and greenies are bad for tiny dogs.
Anyway, so glad we are better!!

When this little sweet thing has bloody diarrhea, I feel sick inside.
She must have eaten something in the garden yesterday that doesn't agree with her. She wouldn't eat the pumpkin I offered her. I'm out of plain yogurt. I'll try that. And we'll have some extra cuddle time tonight This one ate the spoonful of pumpkin, no problem!
They are cuddling together now. The stories we tell define us.
The stories our cultures tell define our culture. I thought of this quote when I read about the Boston bombings and manhunt. There was a police chase, shoot outs and bombs being thrown out of car windows. I couldn't believe it. It seemed more like a movie than real life. Then I remembered the quote: the stories our culture tells define our culture. Our real lives are becoming more like the movies and tv we watch and more like the books we read. That is why I am against reading any books that portray a life other than the kind of life I want to live. I want peace and happiness. What stories do you tell about yourself? How do you talk about yourself? Do you believe your stories define you? Could you change your life by changing the way you tell your stories? Looking out the window from the best seat in the house...
laying on the couch, with warm puppies asleep on me.
It's a good day |
